5 Star Rooms
As with any older house the bedrooms all vary in shapes and sizes but all have the same facilities, amenities and luxury you would expect from a world class 5 star hotel.
In the main house there are two main categories of bedrooms, deluxe - slightly larger and tending towards the front of the house and standard which are a little smaller than the deluxe rooms and located towards the East of the hotel.
Beyond the main house in the surrounding gardens lie the luxury spa suites and two bedroom cottage suites. These offer more privacy and seclusion but not at the expense of service or style as they also offer 24 hour room service and all other facilities. The rooms outside the main house also have a greater degree of space set in private gardens with their own hot tubs.
Since 1997 the Restaurant at Eriska has held the award of 3 AA Rosettes and a mark in the Good Food Guide. In March this year we were delighted to be awarded the "Hotel Restaurant of The Year” at the Scottish Restaurant Awards and in 2010 we won the "Taste of Scotland Award" at the Scottish Thistle Awards.
Our award-winning chef serves an impressively diverse selection of fresh and seasonal produce. View our menus here. As well as our AA wine list we are renowned for our famous Farmhouse Cheese Trolley which is a favourite with our guests.
Driving from Glasgow – take the M8 west, cross the Erskine Bridge and turn left onto the A82. At Tarbet turn right (still on the A82) and carry on to Crianlarich. At Crainlarich turn left and continue to Tyndrum where you again turn left onto the A85 to Connel then head north off the A828- signposted Fort William, across Connel Bridge and after 3 miles at the north of Benderloch Village turn left to Eriska which is signposted.
From the north you should travel to FortWilliam and then south towards Ballachulish from there you follow the A828 along Loch Linnhe until you pass the town of Barcaldine. Eriska is signposted 3 miles after Barcaldine and you turn to the Right and follow the last 3 miles to the island.

Ratings and Reviews
“Having stayed at this hotel many times before, we took the plunge of taking one of our best friends who is used to superb dining, first class service & the most opulent of settings (worldwide)to Eriska. This stay not only matched, but exceeded our expectations, thank you to Beppo & his team who obviously work extremely hard at making their guests feel the most special. Where to begin? So difficult, suffice to say we ALL want to come back & the sooner the better.”
“We actually stayed at the Isla of Eriska over a year ago for just one night but wished we'd stayed longer and can't wait to return next year! The island itself is utterly beautiful and lovely to explore (our dog was in heaven!) with secluded windswept beaches, a rainbow of heather and wonderful wildlife all around. Our little cottage was so perfect that I'd like to move in permanently and the hot tub outside was perfect for warming up in after a bracing walk!
The restaurant was one of the best I've dined at with impeccable service and really good, tasty food, it's also really stylish with some fab pink lighting!!
My absolute favourite bit of the whole stay was the MASSIVE breakfast in the morning! It's just what you need to set you up for the day (especially since we overindulged slightly on the G&T's, wine, port and champagne the night before!) We would highly recommend this lovely hotel, especially for people wanting a luxury escape from the hectic realities of life! I must also mention the lovely welcome that our dog received in the form of a letter from the hotel's dogs and a couple of biscuit bones!!”
