Seafood Temple is a small family run restaurant serving locally sourced produce in a simple way with a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the unique views over the Kerrera Island.
Our Ethos is FRESH & LOCAL and, under no circumstances, you will be served fish that has been frozen. So although we do our best to serve a reasonably wide choice, by its nature that is not always possible. However, our Ethos Fresh & Local will not be broken and the proof is in the tasting something our regular patrons truly appreciate.
All our seafood and game are locally sourced therefore subject to availability and, in the case of the seafood, also the weather conditions.
The atmosphere is friendly and buoyant - always busier during the season and a little more intimate during the winter. It has grown from strength to strength, offering quality produce to, not only dedicated locals, but to hungry tourists and famous people alike (Eric Clapton, Rab C Nesbitt, Ainsley Harriot, Bjork), extending welcoming arms to anyone who shares an interest or passion in seafood.
Eilidh Smith is behind our delightful dishes, while her brother Drew, the fisherman, is one of our best kept secrets(maybe not anymore!). Joining the team, we have Denny our Maitre D', friend of the family.
