Craigrowan is stunningly situated above the shores of Loch Scridain overlooking Ben More and the village of Pennyghael. The house is set in its own private garden surrounded by an established beech forest, a habitat to many wild birds, red deer and woodland flowers. Stay in comfortable rooms with private facilities, full central heating, lots of hot water, hairdryers, toiletries and fresh flowers. Breakfasts are a speciality with a good choice available. We aim to use local and organic produce whenever possible. The guest dining/sitting room looks directly onto Loch Scridain and Ben More (the highest mountain on Mull) and is welcoming and spacious. A first floor reading room equipped with books, magazines, games and local information and an adjoining glass fronted balcony allows for perfect relaxation and recuperation after a busy days sightseeing. Afternoon tea is available from 4pm to 6pm. We are happy for our guests to share our garden. There are benches and tables available. The Kinloch Hotel is about one mile away offering a warm welcome, open fires and a good bar meal. Food is served between 6pm to 8pm. Craigrowan makes a good base for exploring Mull and Iona.
