Very comfortable well equipped home from home in a quiet residential cul de sac in Oban. 10 minutes walk from the train station, harbour and town centre. About 5 minutes from local supermarkets. Parking, private garden and wi-fi. Our comfortable modern house has just been re-decorated to a high standard. It is in a quiet residential cul-de-sac ten minutes walk from the station and about five minutes walk from Aldi, Lidl, Co-op and Tesco as well as having a garage convenience store at the end of the street. The cosy lounge has a sofa which converts very easily to a double bed. The HD TV is brand new and we provide a range of DVDs. You can enjoy your own music easily through the iPod docking station and free wi-fi is also provided. There is a double room and a twin room upstairs both with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom upstairs includes a shower over the bath, and there is an additional toilet downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, and a large range of utensils. There is tumble dryer available for use in the downstairs wash room. There is also a private back garden. Oban has some delightful local shops also within easy reach including a lovely old fashioned sweet shop, the Oban Chocolate Shop, two specialist bargain shoe shops and an art shop with a varied and interesting range of cards and gifts as well as a good stock of artists’ materials. The Oban Phoenix cinema, which is a community led project, opened in August 2012, and provides an excellent facility for locals and visitors alike. Atlantis Leisure is a well equipped sports and leisure centre with a swimming pool and many other facilities. Within five minutes’ walk, there is ‘Go Bananas’, a children’s soft play facility with the excellent Bridge Café beneath. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the rental price. We will always provide a welcome pack of popular food items and basic essentials. There is parking in front of the house for one vehicle and plenty of safe street parking at the end of the street.
