Enjoy the spectacular views from our comfortable sun lounges and restaurant, in ever changing colours, over the Sound of Iona to the Ross of Mull and the mountains beyond. A log fire warms the inner lounge. Our restaurant is open for freshly prepared buffet meals for most of the day and cosy candle-lit dinners in the evening. Diners may watch the granite rocks accross the Sound on Mull glow pink as the sun lowers in the west. We aim to use the best Scottish produce, as much as we can from our own organically cultivated gardens, and we do all our own baking. Organic wines and beers are available. All our bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower and coffee/tea making facilities and most have sea views. We are conveniently situated between the village and the Abbey adjacent to the historic St Oran's Chapel and the Reilig Oran. The hotel car is available to carry baggage between the ferry jetty on Iona and the hotel. Our aim is to provide a tranquil haven of hospitality and relaxation where the enjoyment of guests is ensured by caring staff in a nurturing environment. As our hotel is located on the boundary enclosure of the origional Celtic Christian settlement on Iona, it could be said that we carrying on an ancient tradition of hospitality for guest visitors and pilgrims from the time of St. Columba. The hotel is run and managed to provide a service in tune with the special qualities of Iona, thus enabling guests to explore and experience the magic, mystery and peace of Iona from a comfortable base with a sympathetic ambience.
