All the better for making the most of the impressive views over the loch to Beinn Bheula and Beinn Lochain. There is a covered sitting porch at the entrance as well as an enclosed small front garden ideal for guests bringing a pet. The garden gets the sun till late on in the day before it dips behind the mountains. You are just a few minutes walk from The Goil Inn and The Shorehouse Inn. Two local places to enjoy a social drink and good pub grub. The village Jetty for fishing, as well as D&M Auto Marine for hiring boats, are right on your doorstep. The lounge and bedroom sizes are consistent with a cottage. With 2 double bedrooms and a single, Shieling Cottage is perfect for a family, perhaps with a son and daughter who would appreciate their own room.
