Located approximately 6 miles south of Dunoon on the most southernly tip of the Cowal Peninsula, Toward Point has wonderful views over to Bute, Arran and Cumbrae and is a great base for exploring the lochs, hills and glens. "Taynuilt Cottage", is extremely comfortable and very well-equipped with everything you need to make it a perfect stay,whether you want to spend your holiday touring, exploring, walking or simply just taking time out to sit and relax with a good book, enjoying the peace and quiet and stunning views. There is a large garden to the front with a seating area, and a smaller garden at the back with a picnic bench and sheltered seating . The diniing kitchen has a log burning stove and the lounge has an open coal fire. there are also electic heaters in every room. Children are welcome and there are even plenty toys to keep them amused. Dunoon has many activities on offer including golf, horse-riding, swimming, sailing and quad biking, also many places to visit and some wonderful walks in and around the area.
